HELLO, EVERYONE! We're entering our 7th Arc on Hoenn! The setting and timeline will be updated to reflect this. Stay tuned as we explore the year of the dragon (or draconids?), while the site narrative brings Hoenn closer and closer to unparalleled dangers.

JCINK OR PROBOARDS? We're currently deliberating upon this potential move to the Jcink platform. Jcink has several tools that allow for automation of staffwork. Of course, it also has the added benefit of more mature content being allowed. Still! Nothing is confirmed. If you have any thoughts or opinions, please let me know!

hoenn is inspired by, but not associated with nintendo's pokemon franchise.

skin is created by pharaoh leap with graphical help from red. we would like to thank leap and meulk for their additional templates (staff temp, custom pc).

next, garden/swarm spawn, ranger raid, black market, pkmn contest post templates were coded by ulla.

teal has created the wild spawn, endeavour list, league card, exhibits. he and spiral also created the gachapon script, while the former created the gachapon template.

loreq has assisted us with many quality of life changes on site involving coding fixes, plugins and more.

lav has coded in UI accessibility features on Hoenn (cogwheel icon on the navigational sidebar).

characters belong to the members who write them, and all posts and templates on site are credited to their respective authors and artists. we claim nothing that is not ours. thank you for stopping by.

SYNOPSIS: the hoenn league has successfully diverted the 99943 meteno meteroid into an alternate universe. consequently, the region has experienced a violent planeshifting, a bombardment of terastal crystals, and now sports various rifts to realms in the ultra wilds. as megalopolan activity begins to rise, trainers who embark in expeditions to these realms uncover secrets behind the condition of the multiverse.
meanwhile, team rocket and the league amass resources to aid in their conflict against each other. the crime syndicate is poised to take more of the region territorially, while the league ponders a direct offense. legendary pokemon roam the region as potential benefactors or ruinous omens, leaving many to ponder how the hoenn region will ultimately be responsible for the end of all worlds.

Everything was better in Sootopolis.

From its architecture, to its people, to its shitty fucking dive bars compared to Slateport this place was heaven. It's a brief thought as he peers through the glass a Huntail taking brief notice of the drummer before swimming away. The bar itself was underground and underground in Sootopolis meant underwater and so the large glass panes served as a window to another world. If he wasn't so uncomfortable he would have thought the metaphor vaguely romantic.

"Even the trash places are boogie as fuck." He grumbles the pit in his chest comfortably lodging itself right above his heart. He's still not used to 'the good life™' and whether it's guilt or just honest discomfort he can't be bothered to tell, but like with most of his bullshit it could be washed away with a copious amount of bourbon.

"Ay, you sure this was the shittiest place you can find?"

He doesn't bother lowering his voice the pointed glares are akin to paper arrows.

After all he's a rockstar.

the glances out the window fleetingly after luc, scrunching her nose at the displeasing sight of the unsightly huntail. she is unfazed by the current atmosphere, doesn't gape at the monstrous windows peering out at the ocean and its inhabitants.

"you're enjoying all of this for free, luc. boujee isn't bad, why can't you realize that?" staz lilts to him, peers over her shoulder to direct a taunting glaze towards the drummer.

staz takes a loose hold of his hand since she doesn't feel like losing him. there's no one here she readily recognizes, especially since this isn't an establishment the vocalist usually frequents. it has been chosen specifically on behalf of her counterpart for the evening.

"this is what qualifies as a shithole in this grand city. just shut up and order a drink, will you?" her words are more affectionate than they appear, but only luc will be able to tell.

staz leans over the edge of the counter, pose exaggerated until the bartender catches sight of her and saunters over their way.
